Visit to Germany of the delegation by the State Agency is continuing
The International Congress on XVIII "Effective Governance 2015" is being held in Berlin on May 5-6, 2015. The purpose of the congress is to investigate international opportunities in the field of digitalization of public administration and modernization of public services.
The delegation led by the Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Inam Karimov, is attending the Congress. At the international exhibition organized within the event, the State Agency is represented by a stand dedicated to the activities and achievements of “ASAN service”.
Along with the delegation of the State Agency, heads of leading ministries and organizations of Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Liechtenstein and a number of other countries, as well as more than 300 representatives of mass media and business circles attended the International Congress.
The Chairman of the State Agency Inam Karimov during the first day of the Congress made a presentation on "Innovative models of public services: ASAN service" - as one of the main topics of the event. He talked about the successful activity of “ASAN service”, which is a part of the reforms in public administration, implemented by Mr. Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
After the presentation, there was demonstrated a video on “ASAN service”.
Within the framework of the event, there were held bilateral meetings between the Chairman of the State Agency, Inam Karimov and Chief Editor of Germany's Behörden Spiegel, Üve Proll, and State Secretary for the Interior and Sports Affairs of the Berlin Senate, Andres Statzkovski. During the meetings, there was given detailed information on "ASAN service" and exchanged views on prospects for bilateral cooperation. Representatives of the counterparts expressed their interest in cooperation with “ASAN service”.
Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Germany Parviz Shahbazov, head of the International Relations Department of the Council on State Support to NGOs under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mustafa Gurbanly, also, attended the International Congress and bilateral meetings.
