The issue of correction of errors and changes in the registration of civil status acts by registry offices and consular offices are considered within one month from the date of receipt of the application. In exceptional cases, the head of the registration department and the head of the consular offices inform the applicant, and that period can be extended for a period not exceeding one month
Cancellation of initial records of civil status acts is carried out on the basis of the court's decision, and restoration and cancellation of re-compiled records are carried out on the basis of the court's decision or by registration departments and consular offices.
Registry offices and consular offices may request additional documents and information from the applicant and relevant authorities as necessary.
