Issuance of a temporary residence permit to foreigners and stateless persons in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan (extension of the period)

Required documents

an application questionnaire;
a copy of passport or other border crossing document;
a notarized copy of a birth certificate or other equivalent document (for persons under 18 without a passport);
a certificate on the absence of a disease virus carrier (Human immunodeficiency virus infection and hepatitis B and C) specified in the list of dangerous infectious diseases approved by the relevant executive authority;
a document confirming the existence of the circumstances that are the basis for issuing a temporary residence permit in a notarial manner or in an equivalent manner;
two photos 3.5x4.5 cm in size;
to foreigners and stateless persons on the grounds specified in Articles 45.1.1 (in the case of close relatives with a citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan) and 45.1.5 (in the case of family members of foreigners or stateless persons living temporarily or permanently in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan) of the Migration Code a notarized consent application of a family member or close relative provided for in those articles regarding the issuance of a temporary residence permit;
A copy of the document granting the right to temporary stay or temporary residence in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
a reasoned petition of the administration, enterprise, and organization inviting foreigners and stateless persons who are highlevel specialists in the economy, industry, military, science, culture, sports, and other fields to the Republic of Azerbaijan;
a document of the residential area to be registered (excerpt from the state register of real estate on state registration of ownership, warrant, lease (rent) contract or other document stipulated by the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan);
a notarized consent application in the absence of the person providing a residential area to a foreigner or a stateless person (except for cases where a foreigner or a stateless person owns a residential area);
a copy of the document confirming the identity of the person who gave a residential area to a foreigner or a stateless person (except for cases where a foreigner or a stateless person has a residential area);
a document on the payment of the state fee (issued when the license is presented).

State Fee

Issuance and extension of the permit card for temporary residence in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan to foreigners and stateless persons.

- when it is issued within twenty working days or when it is extended:

For persons studying full-time in higher and secondary specialized educational institutions of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

- when it is issued within twenty working days or when it is extended:
- 40 AZN for 1 year
- 2 years (when the temporary residence permit is extended) 80 AZN

- if it is given within fifteen working days or if it is extended:
- 60 AZN for 1 year
- 2 years (when the temporary residence permit is extended) 120 AZN

20 AZN for reissuance of temporary residence permits

According to Article 566 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Azerbaijan, a fine of 30 AZN is imposed for the loss or intentional damage of documents for temporary residence in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Note

Copies of the documents specified in paragraphs 2, 9, 11 are submitted together with the originals of those documents, and after reconciliation, the originals of the documents are returned to the person who submitted them.

For medical certificates, foreigners and stateless persons should contact the Republican Diagnostic Center located at 3166 Tbilisi Avenue, Baku, the International Medical Center located at 11 B, A. Molla Juma St., Narimanov District, Baku, or Baku they can apply to the Special Treatment Health Complex located at Badamdar highway 31 T.

Foreigners and stateless persons, if there are circumstances that are the basis for granting permission for temporary residence in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan, should apply for this permission in person or through their legal representatives at least 30 days before the end of the period of temporary stay or temporary residence in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Unless the person invests at least 500,000 AZN in the country's economy, it is given for the period specified in the applicant's application, but not exceeding 1 year, and if there is a relevant reason, it can be extended for a period not exceeding 2 years each time. Foreigners and stateless persons who invest at least 500,000 AZN in the country's economy are granted a temporary residence permit in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan for the period specified in the applicant's application, but not exceeding 3 years, and may be extended for a period not exceeding 3 years each time, if there is a relevant reason.

If the state fee established for issuing a temporary residence permit (extension of the period) in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan is not paid within 30 days from the last day of the period (15 or 20 working days) established for considering the application for the permit, the permit is canceled.

According to Article 575 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Azerbaijan, foreigners or stateless persons for living without documents giving the right to stay or live in the Republic of Azerbaijan, or without registration, shall be fined in the amount of three hundred to four hundred AZN, with or without administrative removal outside the borders of the Republic of Azerbaijan. .

The following visas are required for obtaining a temporary residence permit:

In case of close relatives with a citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan personal visit visa;
If you invest at least 500,000 AZN in the country's economy any visa;
If you have real estate worth at least AZN 100,000 in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan, or cash of the same amount in any branch of "Kapital Bank" OJSC any visa;
when holding the position of the head of the branch and representative office of a foreign legal entity in the Republic of Azerbaijan and his deputy a business (business) or labor visa;
when engaged in entrepreneurial activity in the Republic of Azerbaijan business (business) visa;
in case of fulltime education in higher and secondary specialized educational institutions of the Republic of Azerbaijan and in general educational institutions - science or educational visa;
when engaging in professional religious activities in stateregistered religious institutions - humanitarian visit visa;
if there are grounds stipulated in the international agreements of the Republic of Azerbaijan business (business) visa, official visit visa, labor visa, treatment visa, cultural and sports visa;
in the case of family members of foreigners or stateless persons living temporarily or permanently in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan – a personal visit visa;
In the case of a highlevel specialist in the economy, industry, military, science, culture, sports, and other fields - a visa appropriate to the field of involvement;
Shipbuilding work visa;
Marriage personal visit visa.
