Festival “Long live Azerbaijan”
There was held a festival in the city Horadiz in Fuzuli region, entitled “Long live Azerbaijan” dedicated to the 99th of the Republic Day on May 28.

In the frame of festival, “ASAN Volunteers” visited one more time the only liberated settlement Jojug Marjanli of the region Jabrail.
At the visit to Jojug Marjanli, organized by the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and “ASAN Volunteers” Youth Organization, participants got acquainted with reconstruction and construction works.
Then, a series of measures have been implemented.
At the first stage participants met with the soldiers, who stand in defense of the lands, thanked them for their bravery. Also, letters, written by citizens within the social project “Letter to a soldier” and by pupils within the project “Pupils friend” were delivered to soldiers.
Then the project “ASAN letter” was a reason of making kids there. Thus, the kids from the village Mirzanagilar of Jojug Marjanli received the gifts through their letters shared on the site www.asanmektub.az. Also, they received books with various topics by the Knowledge Fund.
Moreover, there were held trainings and tree planting by “Green ASAN” initiative with the cooperation of “Eco Park” Ecology Researches Center in the frame of the project entitled “Straight to Karabagh”. The main topic of the project was “Ecological enlightenment”, which was directed to provide all social groups in the fight with the ecological problems in society, enhance effective ways of awareness among people through the real ecological projects and minimize the ecological damage to environment.
Also, ASAN volunteers performed producer Anar Sadigov’s play “Homeland stones”. Mirza Jalal’s play “Mail box” was performed to the audience within the joint preparation of “Informer of culture” and “Pupil’s friend”.
Then the festival was continued in city Horadiz. Deputy Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ulvi Mehdiyev and Head of Fuzuli Executive Power, Ali Aliyev, by the speeches mentioned about the history of Azerbaijan Democratic Republic and its role. It was highlighted, that Azerbaijani population declared independence for the second time in 1991 and continued the statehood traditions by establishing own government.
At the end festival was continued with the concert program.
Should note that the festival was organized within the joint cooperation by the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Transport Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Knowledge Fund under the President of Azerbaijan, "Eco Park" Environmental Research Center, the project of the Ministry of Education “Pupil’s friend” and ASAN Radio.
