In addition, the head of the Permanent Representation of the Asian Development Bank in Azerbaijan, Candice McDeigan, and officials from higher education institutions located in Ganja, also spoke at the event.
It was emphasized that holding the event in Ganja was important for fostering an innovative way of thinking among the youth in the region, tracking global trends, and developing the startup ecosystem.
Within the framework of the “StartupFest Ganja” program, which lasted 2 months, more than 70 teams with startup ideas and over 200 young people applied. Twelve teams chosen at the initial stage were awarded an acceleration program consisting of 8 various modules. During the modules, the teams used the knowledge they gained from the training to develop prototypes for their startup ideas.
