There has been training for deputy ministers with contributions of "Skolkovo" Innovation Center and professors from "St. Gallen University"

On July 19, 2019, State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, jointly with Pasha Bank, conducted a training on the topic of “Digital Transformation & Innovations in Government” for an array of chairmen from various government agencies and enterprises.

Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Services under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ulvi Pashayev and Senior Executive Director and Chairman of the Executive Board of Pasha Bank, Taleh Kazimov by their keynotes emphasized the importance of the aforementioned training towards the digitalization of government services, as well as innovation management.

The training, which is to last two days, will be given by experts from "Skolkovo" Innovation Center of Russia and the St.Gallen University of Switzerland. It is planned to improve digital skills of coordinators from various government organizations who are responsible for innovation development issues, as well as to raise awareness on the latest developments in the fields of digitization and advanced technology, digital transformation and innovation management.

After the opening ceremony, there were training and discussions on the digitization of government services in Azerbaijan, innovations and risk-taking, innovation and measurement systems, entrepreneurship within the organization.

On the second day, training and discussions will continue on the topics of national digital strategy and national digital transformation programs, the importance of state and public-private cooperation, as well as next steps on digital transformation.
