An event dedicated to the memory of martyrs lieutenant Colonel Raguf Orujov was held
On July 10, 2017, an event dedicated to the memory of Lieutenant Colonel Raguf Orujov was held by the organization "ASAN Volunteers" and the support by the State Agency for Citizens Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
At the event, first, the memory of martyrs was commemorated with a minute of silence.
Later, a film dedicated to the martyr lieutenant Raguf Orujov was shown.
Arzu Rahimova, deputy head of Agdam Region Executive Power said that he was hero; he was a brave commander and hero, who loved Motherland more than himself.
Former warrior and journalist Rey Karimoghlu, who later spoke, emphasized that such events play an exceptional role in promoting warriors fighting for Karabakh to the future generations and at the same time, every Azerbaijani youth should grow up in the spirit of patriotism.
The author of the book, Elshan Aliyev, noted that the book contains the life path of Raguf Orujov, memories of his military colleagues, successful operations conducted by an intelligence officer.
Writer-journalist Aida Eyvazli spoke about the April wars at the event, and said that said that these battles demonstrate the image of a patriot and hero of the Azerbaijani soldier to the enemy.
Sevinj Orujova, the wife of the martyrs lieutenant Raguf Orujov, who spoke at the end of the event, said that she saw at the event held earlier Azerbaijani youth in the face of ASAN volunteers and emphasized her decision of spending R.Orujov's birthday with ASAN volunteers.
She also noted that not only Raguf but also other heroes were killed by fighting until the last drop of their blood in the battlefield for every inch of the land.
The main purpose of the event held at the Cultural Center of the State Security Service is to raise patriotism in youth and to give detailed information about the heroes who were killed in the Karabakh war.
It should be noted that ASAN volunteers held series of events towards the formation of patriotism in young people.
