Food safety services have been facilitated
On 12th of June 12, 2018 a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Food Security Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan aimed at the implementation of food safety services at “ASAN service” centers.
Memorandum was signed by the Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations - Ulvi Mehdiyev and Chairman of the Food Safety Agency - Goshgar Tahmazli.
Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations Ulvi Mehdiyev noted that 14 service of the Food Safety Agency will be implemented at “ASAN service” centers.
Chairman of the Food Safety Agency Goshqar Tahmazli delivered wide information on the activities of the organization headed by him. He noted that success of "ASAN service" in the field of public service will be jointly continued by the two organizations in the field of food safety.
According to the Memorandum, food security registration of subjects operating under the food industry, as well as issuance of relevant certificates and preparation of organizational, legal, and enlightenment works on the state registry will be implemented and provided by “ASAN service” centers.
It is also planned to study “ASAN service” experience and formulate relevant software, information systems, and databases for electronic services application, as well as take the advantage of the potential of “ASAN Volunteers”, including co-operation with “ABAD” public legal entity.
