Innovative project at “ASAN service” centers for Milli Majlis elections
To ensure more effective exercise of voting rights for the upcoming extraordinary parliamentary elections of the Republic of Azerbaijan on September 1, 2024, an innovative and efficient tool is being implemented at “ASAN service” centers. The progressive solution is part of a joint project with the Central Election Commission and “ASAN service”.
Citizens can use the "Check Voter Status" function on the “ASAN queue” terminals at the centers to scan their ID cards and verify their names on the voter lists, as well as determine their corresponding election district and polling station.
If the information is not reflected in the system, citizens can immediately contact the Central Election Commission by entering their contact details on a new screen.
Throughout the day, “ASAN service” receives nearly 40,000 citizen inquiries. When taking a queue number, citizens can also use this system to promptly clarify where they need to vote.
