Maleyka Abbaszade was a guest at the project “Innovative governance”

On January 30, 2016, the Chairman of the State Student Admission Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Maleyka Abbaszade was the next guest of the project entitled “Innovative Governance” implemented within the program “ASAN School”.

During the speech, Maleyka Abbaszadeh informed about the history of the establishment and development of the State Students Admission Commission, mentioned that for the first time in the post-Soviet space, there was held the first center-tested testing exam in Azerbaijan. The State Student Admission Commission, which began its operations in 1992, was created with the aim of eliminating negative phenomena and providing objectiveness. During the meeting, Mrs. Maleyka said that during the past 23 years, the goal has been achieved and the automation of technological processes has been made since yearly preparations for the examinations and the committee has gained extensive experience over the years.

Moreover, Mrs. Maleyka informed about the innovative methods used in the education system, the curriculum system and expressed that this system will have its impact in the future.

At the same time, about 200 ASAN volunteers attended the meeting, where Maleyka Abbaszade answered the questions of young people.

Should note, that this project had took the start since 2015 and currently has been implemented within the organization by the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Academy of Public Administration. Under the project, a number of volunteers get an opportunity to meet with well-known political, scientific and cultural figures, and get a chance to address their questions.
