An event dedicated to the cooperation of small entrepreneurs with "ABAD" has been held
On December 26, there was held an event entitled "Support to the establishment of cooperation of “ABAD” with small businessmen" organized by the Ministry of Economy.
Representatives of the Ministry of Economy, the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijan Entrepreneur Association of Women, as well as representatives of about 200 small businesses participated in the event.
Deputy Economy Minister Sahib Mammadov underlined the role of small and medium-sized businesses in the development of the non-oil sector, the diversification of the economy and the increase of competitiveness, expansion of export-oriented product production, employment in accordance with the economic policy of the President of Azerbaijan. The event was organized by the Ministry of Economy on Strategic Road Maps, approved by the Presidential Decree of December 6, 2016, on the development of small and medium entrepreneurship, including the introduction of incentive mechanisms for the development of women entrepreneurship, the creation of Entrepreneur Association of Women and business incubators for women, the importance of conducting campaigns and exhibitions aimed at improving the skills of small entrepreneurs dealing with them, and expanding cooperation with the legal entity “ABAD”.
Inam Karimov, the Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, noted that “ABAD” public legal entity implemented projects to support the family business in decorative-applied folk arts and agriculture:
"So far, 178 families from 17 regions of the country have been supported by private and small entrepreneurship subjects. This support continues and grows day by day. "
Inam Karimov said that the cooperation with the Ministry of Economy to will continue for the delivery of more people's small entrepreneurs.
Then, discussions were held on the issues of supporting their business projects with small and medium-sized businesses, and the proposals of entrepreneurs were listened.
During the event, entrepreneurs emphasized that the holding of such events stimulated the expansion of entrepreneurial activity and thanked the President for the conditions created for the development of the private sector.
