Kenyan Representatives Visits “ASAN Service”

On April 29, 2925, Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, met with Charlene Ruto, Founder and CEO of the “SMACHS” Fund of the Republic of Kenya.

The Kenyan representative visited our country to participate in the "Solidarity in Action: Strengthening Global South NGOs for a NEW and Just World” Forum held in Baku.
The guest was provided with detailed information about “ASAN Service”, established on the initiative of President Ilham Aliyev, and the various activities of the State Agency. It was noted that the establishment “ASAN Service” has achieved significant progress in ensuring efficient public administration by increasing transparency and implementing modern innovations.
During the meeting, detailed information was provided about the projects implemented in the field of social innovations. It was stated that to date, more than 85 million citizen applications have been recorded.
Charlene Ruto closely familiarized herself with the activities of the “ASAN Service” center, Mobile ASAN Service, “ABAD” and the “INNOLAND” Incubation and Acceleration Center, and she expressed that the respective model made a strong impression on her and noted that implementing this experience in Kenya could be beneficial.
At the end, the guest was presented with a commemorative gift prepared by a member of “ABAD”.
