“Harbiyya- Caspian” has been launched
On September 18, 2019, opening ceremony of “Harbiyya- Caspian” military patriotic camp was held. The camp is implemented jointly by “ASAN Service”, State Border Service of Azerbaijan, and “ASAN Volunteers” Organization.
Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ulvi Mehdiyev and Deputy Head of SBS Major General Azad Alekperov attended the event. Participants firstly got acquainted with activities of Heydar Aliyev Ideological Center at the base of State Border Service, and laid flowers to the monument of the National Leader of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Chairman of the State Agency Ulvi Mehdiyev, greeting the camp participants with his keynote, drew to attention the fact that taking into account numerous applications by volunteers throughout the given year, third “Harbiyya” camp has been launched. Being one of various events organized to mark the 100th anniversary of State Border Service, the importance of the aforementioned camp, as well as other military patriotic project by ASAN Volunteers has been stressed.
Deputy Head of SBS Major General Azad Alekperov mentioned reliable protection of our borders, as well as works on strengthening military patriotic education of youth.
Covering dates September 18-19, the camp will pioneer at trainings on boats and in the form of military simulation form. Within the project, participants will be trained on “Tufan” boarder guard ships of Coast Guard of State Border Service.
Moreover, the practical components of the trainings include access to the sea, move to the shooting range, competitions at shooting range, data codification and decryption for communication, sea knot tying, relay races on Valiant type ships, artillery fire from simulator, fire from Typhoon 23 mm gun and other military trainings. It is also projected to organize a race at row square and excursions to Ideology Center named after Heydar Aliyev, Training Center and museum of SBS.
“Harbiyya- Caspian” is 5th camp, aiming to improve military-patriotic feelings of youth.
