A project entitled “Camp of Solidarity”, organized by initiative of ASAN Volunteers, with the support of the State Border Service of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijani Culture and Tourism Ministry, "Regional Development" Public Union, Azerbaijan Automobile Federation and the UN Population Fund has been continuing.

In the framework of the “Camp of Solidarity” in Lahij, 60 volunteers have been already staying at the military tents for 6 days. During the project, a number of trainings, social awareness campaigns and events have been held in Lahij.
One of these events was hiking to Niyaldagh. Participants got acquainted closely with the ancient, astonishing historical areas and monuments of Azerbaijan. Young people were taught to rules of behavior during the tours conducted by support of Vertical Group. The main aim of the tours were to ensure the physical preparation of young people and interest in physical health, form practical knowledge in the history of Azerbaijan among young people.
Later on, after coming back to the camp place, participants got acquainted with foreigners from 15 countries, who came to visit Lahij through the Knowledge Foundation under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Camp participants and foreign guests exchanged views on the basis of the values of multiculturalism. After it, volunteers watched the spectacle entitled “Predator of love” performed by a theater troupe of Ganja “ASAN service” center volunteers. An outdoor spectacle was welcomed with a high interest by local residents.
The Chairman of the State Agency for Public Services and Social Innovations under President, Inam Karimov met with the participants at the 5th day of camp.
During the meeting, Inam Karimov mentioned that, “ASAN Volunteers” Organization has gathered 8 000 young people around and successfully implemented various projects in a short period of time. Also, projects and events conducted by “ASAN Volunteers” Organization carried social responsibility character.
Later on, a meeting was continued by discussions on the topic “How to improve the activities of volunteers”.
Should note, that “Camp of Solidarity” will last until July 26.
