The opening ceremony of the "Voice of Youth" festival was held
On February 2, 2017, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan held the opening ceremony of the festival "Voice of Youth" at the International Mugham Center.
Event was started with the opening speech by the Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfaz Garayev, who congratulated the youth on the occasion of a remarkable day. A.Garayev noted that the "Voice of Youth" art festival was initiated for the first time last year and welcomed with a great interest.
Then, Inam Karimov, the Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, congratulated the youth and spoke about volunteerism. I.Karimov said that the ASAN volunteers’ movement consisting of ten thousand young people has implemented many projects and most of them are in the field of culture.
The event was continued with a concert program of the Presidential scholars and a painting exhibition of young people's works. The young artists whose works were exhibited were awarded with diplomas.
In the frame of the festival, it is planned to be held the premiere of the performance of Ali Amirli's "7 prisoners", the premiere of the amateur performance of the volunteers of the Sumgayit “ASAN service” center, the concert with the participation of Sabirabad and the surrounding region youth and ASAN volunteers and the Baku Choreographic Academy students.
The events in the frame of the festival will be organized by Azerbaijan State Theater of Young Spectators, International Mugham Center, National Library, Sumgayit State Drama Theater, Masally district "ASAN life" and Sabirabad Cultural Center. The festival will last until February 6.
