Football tournament is over
On September 8, 2018, dedicated to 100th anniversary of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic - the final of the Baku open mini football tournament, jointly organized by the Baku City Youth and Sports’ Head Office of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the solemn closing ceremony took place at the Baku Tennis Academy.
Head of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan - Ulvi Mehdiyev, head of Baku City Youth and Sports Head Office - Ragif Abbasov, Vice President of National Olympic Committee - Khazar Isayev, President of the Regional Football Federation, veteran footballer - Isgandar Javadov, Deputy Head of Binagadi Executive Power - Aygun Aliyeva attended the meeting.
The aim of the competition is to promote football, develop physical education and sports in the country, effectively spend leisure time, as well as to establish mutual relations between the Agency and subordinate organizations.
"ASAN Kommunal" and "Gabala ASAN" teams met at the final of the Baku open mini football tournament. "Gabala ASAN" team won the match in a tense game and took the 1st place. "ASAN Kommunal" took the 2nd place, and "Guba ASAN" team - the 3rd place.
Awards were presented to the winners and memorable photos were made.
