There has been held a meeting of the “Panel on Public Administration Reform”
On June 2, 2016, there has been held the X meeting of “Panel on Public Administration Reform” of the 1st Platform within the Eastern Partnership program of the European Council “Democracy, Good Governance and Stability” organized by the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. On June 2, 2016, there has been held the X meeting of “Panel on Public Administration Reform” of the 1st Platform within the Eastern Partnership program of the European Council “Democracy, Good Governance and Stability” organized by the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.Such issues as a review of the measures taken in the countries of the Eastern Partnership in terms of the activity directions of the panel, public administration, public service delivery, e-government and data protection, the civil service, local and regional management were the main objects of the discussions during the meeting. Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Inam Karimov gave a detailed information about the activity of "ASAN service". He noted, that reforms in the field of a transparent public administration is essential, and reforms in the field of public administration had been started some years ago by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev. “ASAN service” is a part of these reforms. Inam Karimov mentioned, that approximately 10 million citizen applications have been received at “ASAN service” centers so far. 97% of citizens are satisfied with the services. Other speakers highlighted about the importance to hold the X meeting in Baku and underlined the necessity of all topics and sharing of the experiences by various countries in a proper direction for the Eastern Partnership program. There will be held a presentation regarding the activities of “ASAN service” center and tour of the guests to the “ASAN service” center at the session entitled “Panel on Public Administration Reform and Modernization of the Public Services Delivery” in the frame of the meeting. Event was continued with the sessions, presentations and discussions.
