19th International Association of Prosecutors Annual Conference and presentation of the “ASAN service” in the frame of General Meeting
On November 23-27, 2014, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, there was held 19th International Association of Prosecutors Annual Conference and General Meeting.
Minister of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan Fikrat Mammadov, General Deputy of Prosecutor of the Republic of Azerbaijan-Chief of Anti-Corruption Department under Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan Kamran Aliyev, representatives of the prosecution of certain countries, judicial institutions, also, delegation of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan participated at the conference.
There was conducted a lecture on the topic “Provision of the development with participation of civil society and partners: learn from others” by the Association which is combining prosecuting authorities of more than 166 countries and the only organization engaged in this field. Head of International Relations Department of the State Agency Azad Jafarli and the USA government, NGO representatives took participation as the core lecturers at the conference.
Azad Jafarli demonstrated a presentation about the Azerbaijani brand “ASAN service”. During the presentation he delivered information about the innovations implemented for the modernization in the field of public sector in Azerbaijan, also, talked about the aims of the ASAN service centers; services rendered history of development, as well as the future plans. It was noted that the aim of activities of “ASAN service” centers is to provide comfort, ensure transparency, eliminate corruption, apply modern technology, and form up new thinking as to relations between citizens and civil servants. Participants were drawn attention to implementations of the services via contemporary methods.
While the duration of the presentation there was a video presented regarding the “ASAN service” activities.
“ASAN service” activities were greeted with high interest at the conference. At the end of the conference participants’ comments and questions were answered.
