Cooperation between Azerbaijan and UAE expands

The second day of the Azerbaijan – United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ministers' Experience Exchange Forum has concluded.

The day began with opening speeches by Deputy Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Salmanov, and UAE Minister of State and Executive Director of the Community Development Authority, Hessa Bint Eissa Buhumaid. A video presentation dedicated to the Azerbaijan-UAE partnership was also showcased.

Following the opening, parallel sessions in a roundtable format were held on topics such as economic diversification and investment, environment and green energy, education, healthcare, social welfare, as well as public services and innovations.

During these sessions, discussions were conducted with the participation of high-ranking officials from both countries, and advanced practices were shared.

At the conclusion of the sessions, an initial agreement was reached to undertake joint work between the two sides for the identification and implementation of projects. Representatives of the governments of Azerbaijan and the UAE will collaborate and execute the identified projects.

The forum was organized jointly by the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the UAE Ministry of Cabinet Affairs. It was held within the framework of the "Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Government Experience Exchange between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the United Arab Emirates", signed on November 28, 2022. High-ranking officials from various sectors of both governments participated in the forum.
