On the 14th of October, 2014, head of the Cooperation Department of the Delegation of the European Union Jeroen Willems was acquainted with the building and functioning of the “ASAN Service” center No.1 of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. On the 14th of October, 2014, head of the Cooperation Department of the Delegation of the European Union Jeroen Willems was acquainted with the building and functioning of the “ASAN Service” center No.1 of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Guest was delivered information about the aim of the ASAN service centers, services rendered, history of development, as well as the future plans. It was noted that the aim of activities of “ASAN service” centers is to provide comfort, ensure transparency, eliminate corruption, apply modern technology, and form up new thinking as to relations between citizens and civil servants. It was noted that 3 000 000 citizens have been served at “ASAN service” centers. Guest mentioned about the successful projects being implemented between Azerbaijan and European Union and highlighted importance of ASAN in these relations.
