There was held a final event of the project jointly implemented by European Union and State Agency

On February 16, 2018 there was held an event on presentation of the results of the project implemented within the financial support by EU to support “ASAN service” and “ABAD”.

Head of the project titled “Strengthening data analysis in ASAN and assisting with small business development in ABAD” Stephen O’Mullane by his opening speech gave a detailed information on the project. Head of the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan Kestutis Jankauskas underlined the successful work in the field of relations between Azerbaijan and the European Union in the direction of raising line. The guest also noted the special role of "ASAN service" in achieving customer satisfaction, supporting the development of the “ABAD”s medium and small family farming. He noted that within there were implemented joint and consecutive actions, which were remembered with pleasant memories.

Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Inam Karimov gave information about the establishment of "ASAN service" and "ABAD" as an important part of socio-economic and political reforms under the leadership of the President Ilham Aliyev. He emphasized that within the framework of the project, sufficient work has been carried out to improve the activities of "ABAD". The Chairman of the State Agency, also, expressed his gratitude to the European Union Delegation to Azerbaijan, experts and mentioned that they are ready for interesting partnership in the field of provision of innovative activity.

Director of the organization Rufat Elchiyev, by his speech gave information on the history, goals and directions of “ABAD”, noted that the necessary measures were taken to implement the activities of the “ABAD” during the past period, support mechanisms for the establishment and development of family businesses. He emphasized that it is planned to increase sales channels, opening of new "ABAD" centers and organization of necessary measures for the development of small and medium enterprises in near future.

Project experts Stephen O’Mullane and Lubomir Dimov made a presentation about the works done within the project, the necessary measures and statistical results.

At the end, “ABAD” beneficiaries - Arif Novruzov and Gunay Ibrahimova, took a floor and delivered their gratitude for the support and expressed their satisfaction with the business environment.
