The results of “ASAN service index” have been announced

On February 20, 2024, a presentation on the 2023 assessment results of the "ASAN service index" was held at the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

According to the order issued by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 262 dated September 11, 2014, "On measures related to the creation of the Electronic Register of State Services," the parameters that constitute the "ASAN service index" by the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the task of evaluating public services was continued in 2023.

The main goal is to collect and systematize information about public services in a single source, to eliminate duplication in the provision of services, and to ensure flexibility of management in this area by creating new types of services, and to increase the capabilities of analyzing and forecasting services.

 To fulfill this task, in 2023, the State Agency assessed a total of 438 services, including 208 services of 23 central executive authorities, 170 services of 15 local executive authorities, and 60 services of 9 legal entities.

Chairman of the State Agency Ulvi Mehdiyev and Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Sahil Babayev delivered speech at the event.

In the first part, a short presentation on the assessment of the "ASAN service index" in 2023 was held, and the results were announced. Then, institutions with the highest indicators in 2023 were awarded for central executive power, local executive power, and legal entities.

Institutions with the highest indicators among central executive authorities:

1st place: Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population
2nd place: State Migration Service
3rd place: Ministry of Justice

Institutions with the highest indicators among local executive bodies:
1st place: Pirallahi District Executive Authority
2nd place: Binagadi District Executive Authority
3rd place: Yasamal District Executive Authority

Institutions with the highest indicators among legal entities:

1st place: "Azerishiq" Open Joint Stock Company
2nd place: "Azersu" Open Joint Stock Company
3rd place: "Azeriqaz" Production Union

In the second part, a wide and interactive presentation of the evaluation results was held for the representatives of state institutions. The event continued with a question-and-answer session.
