There was held a presentation about “ASAN service” in Serbia

On May 21-22, 2015, the Global Organization of Parliamentarians Against Corruption conducted an international conference at the National Assembly of Serbia in Belgrade with support of the UNDP. On May 21-22, 2015, the Global Organization of Parliamentarians Against Corruption conducted an international conference at the National Assembly of Serbia in Belgrade with support of the UNDP. “ASAN service” was represented by the delegation led by Ulvi Mehdiyev, the Deputy Chairman at the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. During the conference there was conducted a detailed presentation about the establishment and activity directions of the Azerbaijani brand “ASAN service”. There was mentioned about the role of “ASAN service” in delivering of public services in more efficient, transparent ways, fight against the corruption and establishment of e-governance. It was noted that with the establishment of “ASAN service” there have been achieved serious steps in terms of enhancing of transparency and implementation of contemporary innovations in the efficient public administration context. Presentation was met with high interest of participants and continued with the answers to the questions addressed by them. There was discussed about the holding constant meetings in the field of learning of experience of ASAN and extension of cooperation between “ASAN service” and GOPAC. Conference participants highlighted the activity of "ASAN service" as an example model in the field of public service delivery and mentioned importance to implement such experience in other countries too. Also, parliamentarians congratulated “ASAN service” on occasion of receiving of the most prestigious award in the world - UN Public Service Award.
