The “ASAN Service” Public Data Portal and Artificial Intelligence solutions have been presented
On April 4, 2025, the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan held a presentation of the “Public Data Portal” (https://opendata.vxsida.gov.az/) and hosted panel discussions on the topic “Data-Driven Decision-Making in Public Administration”.
Representatives from various government institutions, technology companies, and higher education institutions working in the relevant fields attended at the event.
Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency, emphasized the importance of implementing data-driven decision-making mechanism to enhance the efficiency of public administration and spoke about the initiatives undertaken by “ASAN Service” in this direction. He also highlighted the importance of new technologies, including artificial intelligence solutions, in this field withing the context of the global landscape.
The purpose of the portal is to promote citizen participation across various areas of the Agency’s activities and to ensure accountability within the framework.
The mentioned portal covers information related to various aspects of “ASAN Service” operations, including its international activities, the Electronic Registry of Public Services, “ASAN Visa”, “ASAN Payment”, “ASAN Application” systems, and the “YASHAT” Fund.
Researchers and business participants can utilize the provided data to propose new innovative solutions addressing various challenges.
At the end of the event, a panel discussion titled “Data-Driven Decision Making: Myth or Reality?” was held. During the session, representatives from government institutions shared their experiences in implementing artificial intelligence solutions.
