“ASAN service” on “Diplomatisches Magazin”

The article named “Good governance and Azerbaijani way for the fight against corruption" with the authorship of political scientist, associate professor of the Caspian Studies Center of Free University of Berlin, expert on the Eastern Europe Matthias Dornfeldt was published in the international relations rubrics on the January issue of the magazine. In the article, “ASAN service” has been mentioned as an effective project from the aspect of good governance and fight against corruption by Azerbaijan. The author calls “ASAN service” as a contemporary service of the XXI century and recommends applying such centers in other countries as well as in Germany. In the article it is mentioned about the various governmental agencies combined in a single center within the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations services which is established according to the Decree by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on July, 2012. It is emphasized about the delivering of operative and quality services to citizens at the “ASAN service” centers, and its term, it plays an important role in provision of transparency and fight against corruption in the sector of public service.
