“ASAN Wi-Fi” now at Heydar Aliyev International Airport
The "ASAN Wi-Fi" system, which was created to provide access to the Internet free of charge in public places, has been put into operation at Heydar Aliyev International Airport, which is used by ten thousands people every day.
So far, nearly 200,000 users benefit from “ASAN Wi-Fi” system to provide users with fast and free access to the Internet, while also providing them with information on government and social projects. At the same time, different companies can promote advertising purposes through the system to their users more conveniently.
It should be noted that “ASAN Wi-Fi” project was presented to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev during the opening of Gabala regional “ASAN service” center on August 10, 2016. Starting from October 2016, the “ASAN Wi-Fi” system has been launched as a pilot project at “ASAN service” centers No.1 and 3. It is planned to install it at other “ASAN service” centers and various public objects. In its turn, it will allow be used by a big quantity of people based on free of charge.
