ASAN Visa started to operate at Ganja and Gabala International Airports
Issuance of visas to foreigners via ASAN Visa self-service terminals started to be function at Ganja and Gabala International Airports
Starting from May 15, 2018 for the first time, visas are issued to foreigners at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport via ASAN Visa self-service terminals, and over 7,000 electronic visas have been issued so far.
The ASAN Visa will provide citizens of 15 countries with direct visas in the airport - Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, South Korea, China, Iran, Israel, Indonesia, Kuwait, Qatar, Malaysia, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Turkey and Japan.
Installed ASAN Visa self-service terminals have been provided with custom-designed universal passport readers, post terminals for electronic payments, and receipt receipts for cash payments.
Currently the portal functions in 7 languages (Azerbaijani, English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Persian and Russian).
In addition to self-service terminals, 4 windows will also be available for visa issuance and bank services, which will provide additional assistance to foreigners who travel to the country. On average, issuance of visas for a foreigner will be provided within 2 minutes.
Electronic visas are issued only to citizens of 95 countries. The entire system is fully automated and issuance of visas for 3 days (standard) and 3 hours (emergency) prior to arrival to the country through the existing electronic visa system is carried out via www.eviza.gov.az.
