Memorandum of Understanding on “ASAN Railway” project has been signed.
On December 13, 2019, there was held a ceremony to sign the Memorandum of Understanding about cooperation on “ASAN Railway” project between the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan Railways CJSC and Idrak Technology Transfer LTD.
The Memorandum was signed by Ulvi Mehdiyev- Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Javid Gurbanov– Chairman of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC, and Hikmat Abdullayev – President of Idrak Technology Transfer LTD.
Purpose of the memorandum is to realize small, as well as big-scale deliveries, jointly conduct application of innovative “ASAN Railway” unmanned transport vehicles in order to provide a safe and quick journey to regions.
Being innovative taxi system on railway tracks, “ASAN Railway” is the most eco-friendly means of transport for passengers which is to provide high-level safety through electronics, rob technology, and e-solutions, as well as on-time arrival to anywhere.
The initial model of “ASAN Railway” is currently available at laboratory environment and the aforementioned Memorandum is to accelerate this process.
“ASAN Railway” system was first introduced to Mr Ilham Aliyev, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan at the inauguration ceremony of Imishly “ASAN Hayat” complex.
