The event was launched by the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan in performance of the Military Orchestra by State Border Service.
The Head of Executive Power of the region of Ismayilli, Mirdamat Sadigov welcomed the guests and participants and emphasized Lahich as a cultural center of Azerbaijan. The Head of Executive Power expressed his gratitude to organizers on behalf of the people of Ismailli, especially Lahij.
The Chairman of the State Agency for Public Services and Social Innovations under President, Inam Karimov mentioned that, ASAN Volunteers Organization has gathered 8 000 young people around and implemented various projects in the field of patriotism, culture and other social responsibility projects. The Chairman of the State Agency highlighted, that volunteers of the Camp will be taught not only to social responsibility, but also spirit of patriotism, and expressed his gratitude to the administration of the State Border Service and staff whose help is praise-worthy.
The Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism, Adalat Valiyev, and Deputy Chief of the State Border Service, Lieutenant-General, Ilham Mehdiyev, by their speeches mentioned the importance of such projects, which is the first in Azerbaijan, to enhance national - cultural heritage, multicultural values, sense of patriotism, form camp culture, obtaining of new knowledge and abilities.
At the end, on the behalf of all private companies, which supported the implementation of camp, President of Azercell, Vahid Mursalov stressed on the participation in such important projects.
Should note, that the project with the duration July 20-25 has been being implemented by initiative of ASAN Volunteers, with the support of the State Border Service of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijani Culture and Tourism Ministry, "Regional Development" Public Union, Azerbaijan Automobile Federation and the UN Population Fund. Various interesting events, trainings and different tours will be conducted within the project. Meeting of public officials and MPs with participants is planned to be organized during the camp.
