ASAN E-gov model has been introduced to the Republic of South Korea

On May 21-25, the delegation of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan took part in a program on "Political Governance in Electronic Government" in Seoul, South Korea. Civil servants from 10 countries selected from 47 countries requiring cooperation in e-government that signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Security of the Republic of South Korea was able participate in the program.

The main purpose of participating in the program was to study South Korean experience in the field of e-government, provide information on the e-government development in Azerbaijan, “ASAN service” activities, as well as exchange experience with representatives of a number of state and private companies of the Republic of Korea.

Deputy Minister of the Interior and Safety of the Republic of South Korea- Shim Bo-Kyun, General Director of the E-Government Bureau of the Ministry - Yoonkee Chung and other officials during the exchange of views noted that they are interested in expanding cooperation with Azerbaijan in the field of e-government.

During the event, the State Agency's delegation made a presentation about the role and experience of “ASAN service” in the innovative form of public services in Azerbaijan, as well as the current situation in the field of electronic governance.

In addition, a number of bilateral meetings were held within the framework of the program. Representatives of a number of leading state agencies, private organizations and enterprises of the Republic of Korea, as well as representatives of Belarus, Tunisia, Uzbekistan, Honduras, Uganda, Ethiopia, Cambodia and other countries have been welcomed by Azerbaijan's experience in public services, e-government, e-services, and prospects of further cooperation and a number of proposals have been made.
