Service window of Labor Monitoring Center began operating in “ASAN Communal” No.1.
Physical persons and legal entities engaged in the construction of multi-storey residential buildings in Baku, as well as raising awareness on the prevention of informal employment for workers in construction facilities and about propaganda companies, as well as activity of the "Building Monitoring System", usage rules of it and awarenness on the labor legislation will be conducted through the service window.
In addition, large-scale awareness campaigns about fighting against informal employment, helding informational and propaganda companies, bringing to public attention negative outcomes of informal employment in mass media, the benefits of formal employment, preparation and demonstration of video clips, stands, brochures and information sheets are intended.
By the Decree of the President of the Azerbaijan Republic dated April 28, 2017, No. 1349, the Labor Relations Monitoring Center was established under the subordination of the State Agency for Citizens Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Azerbaijan Republic with the aim of protection of citizens’ labor rights in the field of construction, providing social security benefits, strengthening the control over formalizing labor relations, and organizing monitoring by using modern innovations.
According to the decree, within the framework of the pilot project the Center was commissioned to create an electronic register of multistored residential buildings and physical and legal entities engaged in their construction in Baku, to integrate into relevant state information systems, and to install of real-time surveillance cameras at construction fields.
