“ASAN service” model was presented at the 7th session of the EuroNest Parliamentary Assembly
The 7th Ordinary Session of the EuroNest Parliamentary Assembly took place from 24th to 28th of June, 2018 in Brussels.
The plenary session included a delegation of Azerbaijani deputies, representatives of other member states, a number of EU institutions, international and local NGOs and other officials.
During the meeting in Brussels, issues of EU and Eastern Partnership countries such as security challenges, human rights and democracy, economic integration, energy security, foreign investment in these countries, resolving informal labor issues and strengthening the social security of workers were discussed.
Session participants were informed about the “ASAN service” model and projects within the framework of “ASAN service” implemented by the representatives of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
It was noted that, the main objective of “ASAN service”, which operates on the principles of efficiency, transparency, courtesy, responsibility, convenience, is to increase transparency in public services, prevent corruption, introduce trend innovations in the service sector and subsequently increase the effectiveness of institutional reforms in this sector.
Touching upon the topics discussed at the session, it was noted that reforms related to discussed issues are regularly evolving under the positive way in Azerbaijan. Labor Relations Monitoring Center of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan was set up to resolve the informal labor relations, ensure the enjoyment of social security and strengthen the control over the labor relations. The Center is taking steps to strengthen the control over the labor relations, uses modern innovations in the field of monitoring, and conducts monitorings to protect the labor rights of the citizens in the field of construction.
At the end, "ASAN Visa", "ASAN Kommunal", "ASAN Pay", "ASAN Radio", "ABAD", and other projects implemented by the State Agency within the framework of institutional reforms in the sector of public service were widely discussed.
