“ASAN service” will organize an international forum within the framework of COP 29.
On November 14, 2024, The Ministerial Forum on Green Advanced Governance will be held in Baku within the framework of the 29th session of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change - (COP 29).
The event, which will take place at the Baku Olympic Stadium in the Blue Zone, will be organized jointly by the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN ESCAP) and Apolitical Group Limited.
The Ministerial Forum on Green Advanced Governance will bring together representatives from governments, international organizations, leading experts and academic circles to promote interactive dialogue and collaboration. The discussions will serve as a platform for sharing the best practices, innovations and strategies related to the transformation of public services towards green governance and climate goals.
Innovative models will be highlighted at the forum, such as Azerbaijan's “ASAN service” model, how can contribute to international collaboration in response to climate change, promote inclusive development and support sustainable infrastructure.
The importance of international collaboration in expanding green technologies, developing advanced governance and aligning public services with environmental and social sustainability will be focused on the forefront of discussions.
The heads of 7 international organizations, representatives from relevant ministries of around 20 countries, as well as representatives from various companies and research institutes will be participating at the event.
