Confirmation of the power of attorney for the transport vehicle

Required documents

  • State registration certificate confirming ownership of the vehicle.
  • ID card of the person who receive power of attorney and who issues.
  • Documents confirming the relations of kinship between the parties (the documents of the state registration body of civil status acts) or the court decision on the determination of kinship relations.

Required persons

Property owner or representative confirmed the power of attorney in coherence within the notary service.

State Fee

If the power of attorney is given to the spouse, children, parents, grandfather, grandmother, grandchild, brother, sister – state fee is 10 manat, service fee – 1,50 manat.

If the power of attorney is given to other citizens or legal entities – 20 manat, service fee – 3 manat.

Note

According to the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On compulsory insurance", liability insurance of motor vehicle owners is mandatory.

Should note, that compulsory civil liability insurance of motor vehicle owners can be carried out at “ASAN service” centers.
