Japanese Ambassador to Azerbaijan wrote about “ASAN service”

"A system so called" ASAN service" was established in Azerbaijan and this system stands as the core of e-government in the country." The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Azerbaijan Teruyuki Katori shared these thoughts in his personal blog.

The ambassador mentioned that this system may be not the rare one in many developed countries, but in Azerbaijan, people by presenting only ID card can benefit from over 240 types of services rendered at “ASAN service” centers.

The ambassador who visited “ASAN service” center did not hide his surprise and shared some of his points with his audience. He noted that the quantity of people in the centers really demonstrates the satisfaction with this service:

"The window system at the center explains the reason of high quantity of people’s approach to service centers with the provision of transparency, high culture of communication and quality of service. It shows that people support this service and are happy with it."

The ambassador noted that I was looking for an example of comparisons in Japan, one of the advanced developed countries, but in my own country these efforts have just begun and have not been fully put into operation. Also in the article, "ASAN service" is compared with many giant systems in the world.

In conclusion, he noted that Azerbaijan is proud of “ASAN service”, which was created by President Ilham Aliyev's high trust and awarded with the UN Public Services Award. He also emphasized that he will continue the topic in future post.
