High-Ranking officials from Rwanda and Zimbabwe visit “ASAN Service”
Delegations led by the Minister of State for ICT and Innovation of the Republic of Rwanda and the Permanent Secretary of the Republic of Zimbabwe visited the operations of the “ASAN Service” center.
Guests were briefed on “ASAN Service” centers, established on the initiative of President Ilham Aliyev, and innovative solutions applied in public service delivery, highlighting that this intellectual brand of Azerbaijan is currently exported to over 30 countries.
During the meeting with the Rwandan side, the importance of the “Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Establishing a Mechanism for Delivering Advanced Public Services between the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Rwanda Development Board”, signed in June of this year, was emphasized. In this context, an agreement was reached to organize an evaluation visit by a State Agency delegation to Rwanda regarding the implementation of the “ASAN Service” experience in that country.
At the meeting with representatives of Zimbabwe, the visit of the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe to an “ASAN Service” center during his trip to Azerbaijan last November was recalled with satisfaction. The Zimbabwean side initiated the prompt signing of a Memorandum of Understanding regarding the application of the “ASAN Service” concept. Furthermore, the delegation expressed interest in studying the “ASAN Service Index”.
The visitors also toured the “INNOLAND” Incubation and Acceleration Center, the Mobile “ASAN Service”, the “ABAD” public legal entity, and the “Bilim Bakı” center.
