The Prosecutor General of Nepal at “ASAN service”.

As part of his visit to our country for the 58th session of the Executive Committee of the International Association of Prosecutors, the delegation led by Ramesh Badal, the Prosecutor General of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, became acquainted with the activities of the “ASAN service” center.

Ulvi Mehdiyev, the Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, who welcomed the guests, provided information about the “ASAN service” centers established on the initiative of President Ilham Aliyev and the projects carried out in the field of social innovations. It was emphasized that the establishment of “ASAN service” has led to significant achievements in ensuring effective public administration, particularly in terms of increasing transparency and implementing modern innovations.
It was also highlighted that the State Agency received the United Nations (UN) Public Service Award in 2015, the UN Special Award for the Development of Public Services through the Application of Digital Governance in 2019 and in 2023 was recognized as the “Most Advanced Public Service in the World” within the framework of the “Global Government Excellence Award” program. Also, the successful implementation of the ASAN service model in various countries was emphasized.
The Prosecutor General of Nepal expressed that the “ASAN service” center made a strong impression on him and stated that he would inform the official representatives of his country about the concept.
At the same time, possible cooperation opportunities in the topics were discussed during the meeting.
The guests also had the chance to familiarize themselves with the activities of the “INNOLAND” Incubation and Acceleration Center, the “Mobile ASAN service”, and the “ABAD” public legal entity.
