On December 4, 2016, there was organized an event dedicated to Multiculturalism Year and International Volunteer’s Day by initiative of Sumgayit “ASAN service” center at the State Song Theatre named after Rashid Behbudov.

On December 4, 2016, there was organized an event dedicated to Multiculturalism Year and International Volunteer’s Day by initiative of Sumgayit “ASAN service” center at the State Song Theatre named after Rashid Behbudov.
During the event Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Inam Karimov mentioned, that over 9 thousand ASAN volunteers have implemented many successful projects within 4 years.
At the same time, Chairman of the State Agency highlighted, that this year has been declared as a year of multiculturalism. ASAN volunteers have realized several events within multiculturalism year – “Nowruz – Friendship Festival”, “Korean Culture days” and others.
31 volunteers of Sumgayit “ASAN service” center performed dances of many nations.
Moreover, volunteers, besides genius Rashid Behbudov and National Artist, composer-singer Polad Bulbuloglu’s songs, performed foreign music too.
