The “GenjLIK” (“Youth”) program has been launched
Reception of applications for the "GenjLIK" (Young Leaders Development Concept) program jointly implemented by the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan has been started.
In recent years, progressive steps have been taken in legislation and experimental sphere in the field of youth policy both, and the necessary conditions are created for the youth self-realization and revealing potential.
Actual issues are the development of leadership skills such as decision-making, public speaking, self-responsibility in line with the challenges of modern times for the increase of the role of young people in public and social life.
The goal of the “GenjLIK” (“Youth”) program is to develop leadership capabilities of young people and comprehensively improve their potential. 30 young leaders will participate in the trainings of local and foreign experts, their visits to the regions and meetings with government officials. Within the framework of the program covering September-December of the current year, 30 young leaders will participate in the trainings of local and international experts. In addition, visits to the regions and meetings with government officials will also be organized.
At the next stage, the participants will have paid internships in government entities, well-known companies and international organizations. Graduate leaders will be given special support to realize their individual ideas, and their career development will be encouraged.
Young people with a bachelor's degree and up to 27 years of age willing to participate in the program can apply through the www.genclider.az website until June 24.
