Ganja is hosting “Azerbaijan Startup” Festival
On November 25, 2016, Ganja city hosted an opening ceremony of the Festival “Startup Azerbaijan” implemented within the joint organization by “ASAN Volunteers” and Startup Azerbaijan.

On November 25, 2016, Ganja city hosted an opening ceremony of the Festival “Startup Azerbaijan” implemented within the joint organization by “ASAN Volunteers” and Startup Azerbaijan.
The aim of the festival, attended by young people over 11 countries, is to support the development of startup, increase the exchange of ideas between local and foreign young people, also stimulate the creation of start-ups and develop start-up ecosystem.
The President of Azerbaijan Internet Forum, Osman Gunduz by his keynote speech, welcomed all guests and participants, gave a comprehensive information about the festival.
Executive Director of the State Fund for Development of Information Technologies, Elchin Zeynalov, Chairman of “ASAN Volunteers” Bakhtiyar Islamov, High-Tech Park - "HT Park" LLC director, Seymur Agayev and other guests by their speeches wished all participants success. Speakers noted that such event is a perfect platform for young start-uppers. Young people by using such opportunities are able to enhance their innovative ideas, establish connections with local and foreign donors.
Event was continued with interesting music performances by ASAN volunteers.
Need note, that festival entitled “I International Startup Academy – Ganja 2016”, which will last six days, is being held within the framework “ASAN Volunteers” and with the financial support of the Youth Fund under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
