The next meeting of the Public Council on Electronic Services Promotion was held
The next meeting of the Public Council on Electronic Services Promotion was held at the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Senior officials and experts from the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations, State Housing Construction Agency, and Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies attended the meeting.
The meeting focused on improving the system of "discounted housing" system, ensuring that the system is functioning in a durable, reliable, safe, transparent and uninterrupted operation mode and that equal, transparent and efficient conditions have been created during the selection of flats.
At the same time, the Public Council for Electronic Services Promotion emphasized the importance of the initial presentation of this resource.
Jeyhun Salmanov, representative of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations, stated that the implementation of the state policy and regulation in the field of e-government, as well as the necessary measures to ensure the management and functioning of the "E-government" portal in accordance with the Decree No 1885 on "Measures in the development of e-government and transition to digital government" dated 14 March 2018, has been entrusted to the State Agency.
In order to eliminate the deficiencies during the choice of apartments through the electronic system “Discounted Housing “created on "E-government" portal (www.e-gov.az), a Working Group consisting of representatives from the institutions involved in ensuring the system's functioning has been formed and its activities have been coordinated by the State Agency. At the same time, the "E-government" portal has taken measures to properly distribute the weight of work with applications, and the resources have been raised for the elimination of stagnation. Together with the participant parties, various tests have been conducted and possible problems have been identified and eliminated.
Elshad Mammadov, representative of the State Housing Construction Agency (SHCA), informed about the opportunities created for the users of the "Discounted Housing" electronic system, at the same time the first project of the Agency was presented at the www.yasamal.mida.gov.az website of Yasamal Residential Complex. He said that the DEMO version of the system was developed to enable users to get acquainted with all the stages of the housing selection process, to achieve the ability to use electronic signature certificates or technical equipment.
Coordinator of the Public Council, Osman Gunduz emphasized the importance of coordinated activities in the implementation of such important projects and expressed his gratitude to the executives of State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovation and the SHCA for this public meeting.
Later, the members exchanged views on the issues, as well as numerous questions were offered from the members of the Public Council and suggestions were made on the steps taken to eliminate such problems.
