The 3rd meeting of the E-government Implementation Group has been held.

Another meeting of the E-government Implementation Group has jointly been held by the support of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Transport, Communication and High Technologies.

The meeting discussed the upcoming tasks for e-government formation and their implementation mechanisms, the prospects of government cloud, as well as information on innovations and international experience in this area.

Deputy Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as Chairman of the E-government Implementation Group Jeyhun Salmanov in his keynote speech, mentioned the importance of activities in the field of e-government and joint projects carried out together with the State Agency, as well as other organizations.  

In the first part of the event, there were discussed activities in order to develop and promote e-government, opportunities to study and apply existing international experience, the work done so far on e-government issues and their future prospects.

In the second part of the event, an international expert, Professor John K. Coyle presented a presentation on "Design Thinking" and members of the Executive Team were informed about it.

The third meeting of the Executive Group was held in Shamakhi. Within the framework of the event, participants visited Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory and also had free discussions on various topics.

The E-Government Executive Group, in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan # 1885 of March 14, 2018, provides unified coordination for the formation, integration and effective management of public information resources and systems, as well as the rapid transition to digital government and e-government. It was created to increase international competitiveness in the field of digital innovation and to coordinate the activities of government agencies for the development and promotion of e-government.

The E-Government Executive Group is represented by about 60 different government agencies.
