A meeting was held between the representatives of the State Agency and the Korea International Cooperation Agency
On July 30, 2019, a meeting with the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) was held at the E-Gov Development Center subordinate to the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan
The meeting was attended by Deputy Chairman of the State Agency Jeyhun Salmanov, Country Director of the KOICA Azerbaijan Office Ms. Park Kumok and other staff.
During the meeting, the sides discussed successful cooperation between the State Agency and KOICA, as well as the prospects for cooperation in e-government and other areas. In addition, guests were introduced a presentation about the work done by the State Agency in the field of e-government.
The guest highly appreciated the development of e-government and the work on digitalization in our country. She expressed great interest in cooperation in this area.
The guest also met with volunteers from the “Digital Government” campaign.
Furthermore, it was reported that the “Promotion of Digital Government” project which was proposed by “Share Your CIAT” program alumni, leading specialist of the E-Gov Development Center under the SAPSSI, Ms. Shanay Gulusoy, was awarded a grant. It was noted that the “Share Your CIAT” program aims to strengthen the contributions of KOICA Fellows for the socio-economic development of Azerbaijan through the utilization of knowledge and experience gained during KOICA Training Programs in Korea. The Program provides a new opportunity for Fellows to secure financial support to implement their action plans.
