UN will promote “ASAN service” in 4 continents.
A Contribution Agreement has been signed between the United Nations and the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan, represented by the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The document was signed by Ulvi Mehdiyev, the Chairman of the State Agency, and Li Junhua, UN Assistant Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs.
The agreement envisages the application of innovations in the provision of public services based on the “ASAN service” model in UN member states and the development of potential in the relevant field.
Within the framework of the agreement, the implementation of innovations for delivering public services based on the “ASAN service” model and the development of potential in the relevant sector are planned in UN member countries.
Thus, the UN recognizes Azerbaijan’s “ASAN service” concept, which has become an international brand, as the best model and encourages it to the member states of the organization.
According to this agreement, training sessions for public servants in the relevant countries will be organized based on Azerbaijan’s “ASAN service” experience, focusing on advanced management and public service delivery. Additionally, teaching materials will be developed, and intercontinental international events will be held.
UN Assistant Secretary-General was also acquainted with information about the activities of the “INNOLAND - Incubation and Acceleration Center”, “Mobile ASAN service”, “ABAD” public legal entity.
