Participants of the international forum visit "ASAN service"
On June 11, 2024, participants of the Azerbaijan – United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ministers' Experience Exchange Forum held in Baku visited the "ASAN service" center.
The guests were provided with detailed information about "ASAN service" and the other areas of activity of the State Agency. It was emphasized that "ASAN service", established on the personal initiative of President Ilham Aliyev, has played a significant role in ensuring citizens' access to public services.
It was also noted that "ASAN service" currently collaborates with more than 20 countries and international organizations to share its experience.
Additionally, it was mentioned that the State Agency was awarded the United Nations Public Service Award in 2015 and a special award in 2019 for the development of public services through digital governance by the UN.
The visitors expressed high appreciation for the "ASAN service" concept and stated that they were impressed by the activities carried out by the State Agency in the fields of public services and social innovations.
The delegation also visited "INNOLAND" Incubation and Acceleration Center, "ABAD", and "Bilim Baku" centers.
The forum is organized by the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the UAE Ministry of Cabinet Affairs. It takes place within the framework of the "Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Government Experience Exchange between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the United Arab Emirates", signed on November 28, 2022. High-ranking officials from various sectors of both governments are participating in the forum.
