The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Bahamas at “ASAN service”.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Bahamas, Mitchell Frederik Audley, familiarized himself with the activities of the “ASAN service” center. The minister is visiting our country to participate in the 29th session of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change - (COP 29) which is held in Baku.
The guest was provided with detailed information about the different activities of the State Agency, including the “ASAN service” centers established under the initiative of President Ilham Aliyev, as well as the projects implemented in the field of social innovations. It was noted that with the establishment of “ASAN service”, significant achievements have been made in ensuring efficient public administration through increased transparency and the application of modern innovations.
Also, it was emphasized that the State Agency received the United Nations (UN) Public Service Award in 2015, the UN Special Award for the development of public services through the application of digital governance in 2019, and in 2023, the “World's leading public service” title under the Global Government Excellence Award program, recognizing it with a special award. Additionally, the successful implementation of the “ASAN service” model in various countries was highlighted.
The guest told that the “ASAN service” center made a strong impression on him and that the possibilities of implementing this concept in his country would be considered.
The guest was also provided with detailed information about the activities of the “INNOLAND - Incubation and Acceleration Center”, “Mobile ASAN service”, “ABAD” public legal entity.
