The results of the "ASAN service index" have been announced

On September 21, 2017, there was conducted an event dedicated to the presentation ceremony of “”ASAN service” Index Evaluation Results and Applied Innovations” organized within a joint organization by the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and ADA University.

The Deputy Chairman of the State Agency, Ulvi Mehdiyev during his speech at the event mentioned that assessment of public services' parameters on “ASAN service index” has been completed and 412 public services from 10 central and 13 local executive authorities for 2016-2017 have been evaluated.

Ulvi Mehdiyev, also, emphasized that, the main purpose of the assessment is to collect and systematize information about public services in a single source, eliminate duplication in service delivery and ensure flexibility in management in this field by creating new types of services, and to improve service quality and forecasting capabilities.

Then, Ilhama Gadimova, Head of the Legal Support Department of the State Agency, made a presentation on "ASAN service index" to the event participants. Ilhama Gadimova informed the participants about the "ASAN service index" subsystem, the evaluation mechanism, the work done, the evaluated public services and the results.

Vice-rector at ADA University, Fariz Ismayilzadeh said that ADA University is collaborating with the State Agency on Public Services Assessment and will continue to cooperate in this direction.

At the end, event was continued with questions and answers.

Should note that according to the Decree No. 262 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated September 11, 2014, "On Measures for the Establishment of an Electronic Registry of the State Service", the State Service Electronic Registry has been established and put into use for the purpose of collection and systematization of information on public services in a single source.
