Delegation of “ASAN service” is paying a visit to Morocco

A delegation of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan is paying a visit to Rabat, the capital city of the Kingdom of Morocco.

The purpose of the visit is the building and enhancing of partnership relations between the two countries in the field of public services delivery and social innovations.

On the first day of visit, November 9, the Chairman of the State Agency, Inam Karimov met with the Minister of Administrative Reforms and Civil Service of the Kingdom of Morocco, Mohamed Ben Abdelkader.

During the meeting, it was drawn to attention that “ASAN service” is a part of efficient reforms in the field of public services delivery and public administration by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev. It was mentioned, that “ASAN service”, which is based on the principles of transparency, efficiency, accessibility, accountability and flexibility, and stands for the citizens’ satisfaction, laid the foundation for new ideas and concepts in the provision of public services. 

The initial agreement on the study of the experience of “ASAN service” model has been achieved during the meeting.

Later, a delegation met with the State Minister for Craftsmanship and Social and Economic Affairs, Jamila Al-Musalli.

During the meeting with the State Minister there was held discussions in the field of activities of “ABAD” centers (ASAN Support to Family Business), which is established to support the development of small and medium businesses in our country and the formation of competitive households. During the meeting, the sides agreed to exchange experiences in the discussed fields. 


It was proposed to sign a Memorandum of Understanding between the relevant government agencies on both areas.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Kingdom of Morocco, Tarik Aliyev and members of the Azerbaijan Innovation Consortium (Azinnex) also attended the meetings.

Within the framework of the business visit, it is expected to hold a meeting between the State Agency and the administration of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) and sign a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the two sides on November 10.
