“ASAN service” was presented in Dubai

The heads of state and government, ministers, heads of international organizations, as well as more than a thousand representatives of business and scientific circles attended at the 4th Summit.
Chairman of the State Agency Inam Karimov gave a speech at the panel entitled “The objectives of sustainable development are in action” at the first day of the event. Chairman of the Agency drew attention to the importance of public service delivery as one of the most necessary directions to achieve the sustainable development.
Chairman of the State Agency Inam Karimov delivered information about the recent reforms implemented in the field of improvement of public administration and modernization conducted by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and made a wide presentation about the successful activity of "ASAN service" as a part of these reforms and initiatives which are taken in the field of e-governance in Azerbaijan. Also, he highlighted about the positive impact of the achievements of public service delivery on other fields from the aspect of sustainable development.
First Vice-President of the World Bank on Development issues, Mr. Mahmoud Mohieldin, Chief Executive Officer of the United Nations Foundation, Mrs. Kathy Calvin, advisor to the Office of the Government of Estonia, Mrs. Eili Lepik had speech as panelists.
Representatives of local and foreign countries, the UN and World Bank experts as well as civil society and the private sector took participation at the event accompanied by wide discussions and questions.
Consul General of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Dubai H.E. Mr. Parviz Ismayilzada also took participation at the event. It is planned to hold bilateral meetings during the visit.
The Summit will continue its work on the next day.
