“ASAN service” has conducted an event dedicated to the 70th anniversary of UNESCO and International Children's Rights Day
On November 19, 2015, Baku “ASAN service” center No.5 hosted an event dedicated to the 70th anniversary of UNESCO and International Children's Rights Day organized within the initiative of the UNESCO center of the Academy of Public Administration with the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, with the support of the National Commission for UNESCO of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

On November 19, 2015, Baku “ASAN service” center No.5 hosted an event dedicated to the 70th anniversary of UNESCO and International Children's Rights Day organized within the initiative of the UNESCO center of the Academy of Public Administration with the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, with the support of the National Commission for UNESCO of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The purpose of the event is to draw attention of the vast audience to the projects implemented within the UNESCO-Azerbaijan relations and children’s rights on occasion of International Children's Rights Day, to raise awareness about the rights of children who need special care and support.
Deputy Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ulvi Mehdiyev by his key-note emphasized about the development of UNESCO-Azerbaijan relations, implementation of the efficient and successful cooperation for many years, also, especially noted regarding the irreplaceable role of the First Lady of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador, Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva in the strengthening bilateral relations.
Moreover, Vice-Chair of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, Aynur Sofiyeva highlighted the importance of the International Children's Rights Day, children protection in our country and necessity of conduction of such events.
At the end of event, there was conducted a social campaign titled “Let us unite for the sake of the children”. Hence, guests, children, volunteers, also, citizens, created a solidarity masterpiece by putting their hands on the paper with watercolor for the sake of children.
